ACCOMPANYING SYSTEMS

    Platar Co., Ltd. produces accompanying systems providing ion sources’ operation and diagnostics of their operation.
    Accompanying systems include, first of all, power supplies and gas feed systems of ion sources and also systems of special measurements (of ion beam current density, ion energy, etc).

    Power supplies contain all power units necessary for an ion sources’ operation. Power supplies provide a possibility of an ion source’s operation with manual control and with remote control using standard analog and digital inputs and outputs. In manual mode it’s being realized a keeping all output parameters (due to electrical feedback). Power supplies may be supplied with controller and software for computer control.

    Gas feed systems provide a gas feeding, regulation and a measurement of a gas flow rate necessary for an ion source operation. These systems contain a pressure regulator, a gas flow controller with a power unit, a valve and other parts. Multichannel systems with an independent feed of different gases and with an independent gas flow rate regulation on every channel are accessible.

    Systems of ion beam current density's measurement allow to measure current density distribution at different distances from an ion source and include a movable flat probe and a current measurement block that can be installed into an ion source power supply.

    Systems of measurement of ion energy in beam permit to record ion beam energetic spectrum. The system contains multi-gridded analyzer and block of power supply and data acquisition.



  Small forces' measurement system permits to measure forces generated by ion sources and similar devices. In particular, for electric propulsion thrust measuring.
  The main idea of system operation is automatic compensation of the force produced by tested device, fixed at double-supported pendulum.
  The range of measuring forces is - 2 up to 2000 mN.
